This initiative stems from the desire to unite two worlds that share the same values: protection, care and solidarity. SIR has always been committed to people's safety, and today it does so by supporting those who are fighting an important battle.
Who is Vivo a Colori? Vivo a Colori was born from the personal experience of Claudia Maggiurana, aka Maggy Style, who transformed her battle with breast cancer into a project offering concrete support to other women. The association operates in the Umbria region with the aim of:
Setting up physical and psychological support workshops for women undergoing cancer treatment.
Collaborate with the Breast Unit in Perugia to purchase materials useful for prevention and post-operative care.
Promote new mental wellbeing therapies, including the use of colour and sewing as therapeutic tools.
Encourage dialogue between patients and doctors, creating a bridge of listening and mutual understanding.
The Vivo a Colori Advice Centre Among its most recent initiatives, the association has launched a pilot advice centre in the social and health district of Spina (Marsciano), where professionals from various sectors promote regular information and prevention days.
