Combining reliable pneumatics and improved cylinder fixing system, the Dräger PSS 5000 DP breathing apparatus provides the perfect match of state-of-the-art technology and materials, and is suitable for any application condition. The PSS 5000 model has been designed to be not only comfortable but also extremely efficient during use in harsh firefighting situations. Incorporating a rigid harness connection to a fixed-height back plate, advanced harness materials and a pivoting waist belt, the breathing apparatus remains inposition regardless of the task at hand. The innovative “slide and lock” mechanism assures fast and simple harness and waist pad connection/removal from the back plate. The LDV, gauge and rescue hoses can be routed over the left and/or right shoulders, allowing the PSS 5000 breathing apparatus to be set up in any manner.
Including ergonoic back plate, Dräger Professional (DP) harness with stainless steel buckles and long-life Aramid blend webbing, positive pressure lung demand valve, panoramic mask and 7-litre cylinder.
