2024 Sir Sustainability Statement

For Sir Safety System, sustainability is neither a trend nor a formality: it is a guiding principle that shapes our choices and translates into everyday actions. We have embarked on this path because we believe that safety at work must go hand in hand with respect for the environment, ethical management and care for people. It is in this spirit that we present our first Sustainability Statement, referring to the year 2024.

For us, embarking on a path of sustainability means giving value to every daily choice. With our first Sustainability Statement, we want to share our results, commitments and vision: a way to tell how we are reducing the impact of our activities, improving people's lives and contributing to a more equitable and responsible future.

The actions we have implemented focus on reducing our environmental impact through the adoption of more efficient production practices, optimising the use of resources and focusing on more sustainable materials and supply chains. At the same time, we place great emphasis on people-focused policies: workplace safety, continuous training, inclusion and employee wellbeing.

Environment: clean energy and sustainable innovation

In 2024, we produced 1,559,351 kWh of photovoltaic energy, covering 86% of our energy needs through renewable sources. We also invested in a hybrid company fleet and promoted the use of low environmental impact HVO fuels, adopting recycled materials in our products and sustainable packaging.

Social: equality, well-being and responsibility

We have obtained UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, which recognises our commitment to gender equality and inclusion. With over 300 employees in Italy, we run continuous training programmes and corporate welfare schemes, and carefully monitor conditions throughout the entire production chain, respecting human rights and safety at work.

Governance: transparency and control

We believe in solid governance based on responsibility and prevention. That is why we have implemented a Model 231, strengthened whistleblowing channels and shared a clear and binding Code of Ethics with all our stakeholders. Every process is monitored through internal and external audits, ensuring maximum transparency.

In summary, we wanted to convey – with numbers and actions – a vision that has always guided us: protecting people and building a safer and more sustainable future.

But this is only the beginning. The 2024 Sustainability Statement represents the first step in a structured and lasting commitment: from today, we will publish our ESG Statement every year to transparently report on the progress made and future goals. Because sustainability is not a destination, but a journey that is renewed every day.
