Our company is mainly involved in reclamation and post-damage restoration, such as in the case of a fire and floods, or emergency environmental intervention, such as spills of chemical substances and petroleum products. This is why for Edam S.r.l., safety of its operators is of fundamental importance. The risks that our operators face can be both direct, due to the difficulty of the intervention, and indirect, due to contact with harmful substances. Greater attention is required in terms of safety when, just like in our case, interventions involve partners, such as institutions and important entities.
This is why we rely on Sir Safety System products and specifically, Freeman masks. Initially using those with P3 protection, and then, during the operational phase, deciding on the type of adequate protection for the risk and the activities involved. Besides the safety that Freeman masks provide the worker with, thanks to their filtering features, which is essential for those who work in contact with asbestos or other toxic substances, they are also highly appreciated by our operators.
